Sports Massage is an intimidating word for some because it is known to be a reasonably firm technique that can be painful at times! It is also assumed that sports massage is only for professional athletes.

Im here to tell you that:

1. Yes, it can be painful but it should never be unbearable

2. Sports massage is for EVERYONE!

Sports massage is an umbrella term that includes may different styles of massage - primarily Deep Tissue and Trigger Point therapy mixed with superficial techniques to aid with blood flow and improve muscle healing.

 

With the right depth and techniques we can aid in recovery, minimise stress and tension headaches and referred pain associated with work or activity.
